North Dakota Vintage Postcard Replica Fridge Magnet - Options Available
I found these North Dakota vintage postcard pictures one day while looking at a Public Domain website. They were free to use and had no copyright restriction on them so I downloaded them and started thinking what I could do with them. I came up with the idea that I could put them on pieces of wood and make fridge magnets out of them, which is what I did. My granddaughter suggested the wood be cut in the shape of the state of North Dakota, which was a great suggestion. These make great gifts for friends or love ones or souvenirs for travelers through North Dakota. They were originally printed in the '70's according to the write up on the public domain site. I do not know how long they have been out of circulation.
There are some of the major cities missing from the collection. I am constantly on the look out for the rest of the collection. If the city you desire is missing, check back often to see if I have found them. If you have one of the missing cities, please contact me.
Each of these fridge magnets has two magnets glued to the back of them due to their larger size. I sealed them with acrylic satin varnish to preserve the printed postcard replica. They seemed a little plain so I chose to burn the wood edges for a rustic look.
Each magnet measures 5 3/4" L x 4" W x 3/16" H
